This week the grade 6’s went to Lysterfield to learn more about the Holy Spirit and prepare for confirmation! The Nazareth students did a great job teaching us more about the Gifts and the Fruits of the Holy Spirit and how we can use them in our daily lives.
What did you learn from our trip to Lysterfiled? How can you use what you learnt to help you in your life and keep in touch with the Holy Spirit?

Some of the things I learnt at the Lysterfield confirmation reflection day were, that the Holy Spirit will guide you if you listen to it, and I learnt about the distractions that prevent you from connecting with the Holy Spirit like, gaming, technology and bullying. Sometimes even homework distracts you. And the other thing I learnt was the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit, and what they mean.

At Lysterfield I learnt a lot about the Holy Spirit, I learnt that we have a lot of distractions in our lives and we don’t have enough room for the holy spirit. We did activities, we learnt things and had fun at the same time.

When I went to lysterfield I learnt that we get distracted by a lot of things , so we can’t concerntrate on the Holy Spirit. The information I learnt from lysterfield I can use it to help others learn.
